Venetian Chandeliers
In the year 1291 the glass furnace from Venice were moved to the neighbouring island of
Murano to save the city from the risks of fires.
Murano became the manufacturing center for glass, very famous for the finest chandeliers
with their elaborated forms, rich decorations, multicoloured glass and floral ornaments
completely hand made by the best venetian glass artists.
Since then the prestige of the venetian glass chandelier became well known everywhere.
